I'm on Facebook
I feel slightly less a dinosaur, now that I'm on Facebook. I may not be swimming in the cyber ocean. But, I guess I'm at least treading water, so to speak.

Why Calligraphy Anyway?
I've heard the question fairly often, "Why don't you just do that on the computer?" It's not an unfair question these days. I'll answer it with a couple of questions of my own. Why don't you just BUY that bread from the store in stead of going to all the trouble and time to make it? Isn't it easier just to BUY those tomatoes than growing them?
The making and the growing aren't the point. It's the unsurpassed quality of the end product that makes the time and energy worth it.
